Kosiso (Dani) Akwanamnye

Student Curriculum Specialist

I’m Daniella Akwanamnye (aqua-nam-n-ye). I’m from Nigeria. Due to being from a multicultural country, a fun fact about me is I have three names from three different languages with Daniella being my middle name. My first name is Kosiso (ko-si-saw) and it’s Igbo. I’m part of the International Club. I’m majoring in Communications with a specialization in Journalism.

I hope to work for humanitarian agencies like UNESCO or UNICEF. Getting to do something like that combines my passion for travel and writing, while ultimately bring awareness to the societal and economic problems plaguing different countries. Maybe one day, get to own my own agency.

Working at TLPEC, I get to help staff and faculty with some video editing and website design. We try to make life easier for everyone at TLPEC. As a student, I am able to provide insights on ways to improve the student learning experience simultaneously improving the teaching experience. My work at TLPEC is to find ways to bridge the gap between students and their professors.
