Printer Support

You must use your EagleCard to release print jobs at any printer on campus and to gain access to scan and copy functions on MFPs.

How to Activate EagleCards to Release Print Jobs, Scan, and Copy

Your EagleCard must be associated with your CSC username/password. You only need to perform this process once:

Step 1 - Go to an MFP on campus in one of the following locations:

  • Library lobby on the 1st floor of the library
  • Student Center lobby
  • The Hub between High Rise, Kent, & Andrews halls
  • COIL basement room 035

Step 2 - Scan your EagleCard on the reader to the right of the front panel.
Step 3 - Type in your campus credentials (CSC username & password) on the login screen.
Step 4 - Click 'Associate'.
Step 5 - A message will appear that says "Thanks! Now you are able to sign in with your card."
Step 6 - Scan your EagleCard again to ensure the account was successfully associated.
Step 7 - Press 'Logout' or scan your EagleCard to log out of your account.

How to Print from On-Campus Lab Computers

Step 1 - Print your document(s) as you normally would choosing the printer 'VPrint on cscprint'.
Step 2 - Locate any Ricoh MFP or laser printer on the CSC campus.
Step 3 - Scan your EagleCard on the reader to the right of the front panel.
For laser printers; your document(s) will automatically print. For MFPs; press 'Print release', select which documents to print, and press 'Print'. (You may delete unneeded documents by selecting them and pressing the trash can on the bottom of the screen.)
Step 4 - Press 'Logout' or scan your EagleCard to log out of your account.
Step 5 - Collect your printed items.

How to Copy or Scan

Step 1 - Locate any Ricoh MFP on the CSC campus.
Step 2 - Scan your EagleCard on the reader to the right of the front panel.
Step 3 - Press 'Device function'. If copy/scan options do not appear, press the house icon.
Step 4 - Press the 'Copy' or 'Scanner' button desired and perform the function.
Step 5 - Press 'Logout' or scan your EagleCard to log out of your account.

How to Print from a Personal Device

Mobility Print Service

Mobility Print is a service provided to students that allows printing from personal devices connected to the CSC wireless network and from residence hall room ports.

One Time Set-Up for Mobility Print – Windows, Mac, iOS, Android

Step 1 – Navigate to https://cscprintmobile.csc.edu:9164/setup
Step 2 – A one-time client download will occur. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Step 3 – After the client is installed, refer to the “How to Print Using Mobility Print” instructions below.

One Time Set-Up for Mobility Print – Chromebooks 

Step 1 – Navigate to Mobility Print- Chrome setup (papercut.com)
Step 2 – A one-time client download will occur. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Step 3 – After the client is installed, select “Connect and get my printers.”
Step 4 – After the process runs, refer to the “How to Print Using Mobility Print” instructions below.

One Time Set-Up for Mobility Print – Off Campus 

Step 1 – Navigate to Mobility Print- Chrome setup (papercut.com)
Step 2 - Scroll down to "Not your operating system? Try one of these!"
Step 3 - Select the Windows or Mac icon, depending on the operating system of your device.
Step 4 – A one-time client download will occur. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Step 5 – After the client is installed, select “Connect and get my printers.”
Step 6 – After the process runs, refer to the “How to Print Using Mobility Print” instructions below.

How to Print Using Mobility Print

Step 1 – Select the Print option for the item to be printed.
Step 2 – Select “CSC VPrint” as the printer destination.
Step 3 – Select Print. You should only have to do this once: A log in box will appear for first time printing. Log in with your CSC issued credentials (firstname.lastname@eagles.csc.edu) and password. *On Mac computers, the username will autofill. Erase it and enter your EagleMail address.
Step 4– Retrieve your output. Go to a computer lab printer. Release the print job by scanning your EagleCard. Print jobs that are not released within 24 hours will be automatically deleted.
