CHADRON – Chadron State College is the exclusive Nebraska sponsor of a positive digital messaging platform called the Kindness eWall. The platform designed by YouUplift, is intended for students, teachers, and staff to share encouraging and uplifting comments on digital displays on the walls of their schools. CSC’s sponsorship makes the Kindness eWall free to all public and private Nebraska schools grades K-12 for the 2024-25 school year.

Fifty-two of Nebraska’s schools have already signed up for the opportunity and 80 more have initiated the onboarding process, according to Kurt Thiele, YouUplift’s Director of Partnership Marketing. He said first-year sponsorships average around 20 percent of each state’s schools and Nebraska has about 1,000 schools.

CSC will be mentioned in media-rich video ads and click-through banners on all participating Nebraska K-12 schools’ Kindness eWall platforms and on www.YouUplift.com.

“Chadron State College is proud to promote and be associated with positivity and kindness in Nebraska’s schools,” said Alex Helmbrecht, Director of College Relations. “The sponsorship of the Kindness eWall reflects CSC’s commitment to strengthening communities and investing in the well-being of students and educators. We’re excited to help create spaces where kindness can thrive throughout Nebraska.”

The locations of displays vary from school to school. Since each school's Kindness eWall is housed via its unique URL link, most schools place their Kindness eWall on one or more TV monitors in their hallways. They also place their Kindness eWall on their school website, and many also share it via their social media platforms or digital newsletters.

A faculty moderator at each school is responsible for the content posted. The platform is privacy-compliant and has no data collection.

CSC’s first monthly analytics report about the performance of Kindness eWalls indicates about 3,000 impressions of CSC’s message on the platform and the YouUplift website.
