Scholastic Contest results are released
CHADRON – The results of Chadron State College’s 60th Scholastic Contest have been released. Rapid City Stevens High School placed first in Division I, followed by Scottsbluff in second place, Gering in third, and Alliance in fourth place.
The Division II champion was Chadron, followed by Burns, Wyoming, and Mitchell in third.
In Division III, St. Thomas More High School from Rapid City, South Dakota, placed first, followed by Valentine in second, Hemingford in third place, and Gordon-Rushville in fourth place.
The Division IV winner was Hay Spring High School, followed by Bayard, Ainsworth, and Wall, South Dakota.

Tests covered a wide range of topics including Business Law, Environmental Science, Flash Fiction, General Anatomy and Physiology, Health, Literary Analysis, Physics, Veterinary Sciences, and Wildlife Ecology and Management.
