Eagle publishing online, plans to resume printing this semester

According to editor-in-chief Eben Rosentrader, plans for printing The Eagle are in a state of flux.

“It is touch and go at the moment. We had some serious setbacks that put us behind where we wanted to be, but hopefully, in the next week or maybe the week after, we are hoping to put out a paper going forward until the end of the semester. We are unfortunately short-staffed, so it has been a challenge to get back up and running. We appreciate the patience our readers have had with us, and we are still posting our work online,” Rosentrader said.

According to Rosentrader, The Eagle plays an important role both in the Chadron community and at the college because it covers pressing issues on campus and provides various scholarship and opportunities to earn credit hours.

He said students are encouraged to submit written works through the website to be considered for publication. Dr. Kathleen Kirsch, chair of the Communication Arts Department, is the interim faculty adviser for the fall 2023 semester and content is available at http://csceagle.com.
