CHADRON – For the first time in six years, Chadron State College’s spring enrollment has increased from the previous spring. As of Monday, CSC’s enrollment in the 2022 spring semester is 2,101 students, compared to 2,067 students in 2021.

The 2022 spring semester numbers show an increase of 1.5 percent in headcount, 4.1 percent in credit hour production, and 3.9 percent in full-time students from the same date a year ago.

“This is great news for CSC,” said Vice President for Enrollment Management Tami Selby. “A lot of hard work went into getting students here this spring and I’m thankful for everyone’s efforts. Our increase this spring is due to us bringing in 20 percent more incoming new students.”

Selby is also optimistic CSC’s end of term enrollment could improve later this semester.

“Enrollment Management partners across campus with the intent to continually update our recruitment practices to show students and their families why CSC is a great choice for them. We really believe our intentional efforts will continue to pay dividends this semester, as well as for the fall 2022 class,” Selby said.
