Board of Trustees approve MOU with Rocky Vista University
PERU, Neb. – The Nebraska State College System Board of Trustees had a regular board meeting April 21 on the campus of Peru State College.
In addition to approving policy revisions, the Board of Trustees approved a memorandum of understanding between Chadron State College and Rocky Vista University to create an early acceptance program for Health Professions students.
The Board of Trustees also approved a systemwide contract for all three colleges to use the same learning management system (Canvas). In addition, the Board approved the naming of certain areas in the Math Science Center of Innovative Learning, a five-year academic calendar, and accepted Chadron State College’s recently completed Facilities Master Plan, which will guide construction and renovation efforts on campus through 2030.
The Board convened to review information items, as well, including economic impact reports for each of the three state colleges. The next Board of Trustees meeting is scheduled for June 16 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
