CHADRON – The Chadron State College Scholastic Contest, an annual opportunity to recognize and the academic achievements of regional high school students, has been canceled for 2021. Co-Chairs of the Scholastic Day Committee Jamie Hamaker and Sara Smith said the tradition will resume next year.

“We’d like to bring back the contest better than ever in 2022. In the coming months, the Scholastic Day Committee will be seeking input (from the campus community) as we plan for next year’s event. This decision was a difficult one to make, and took much deliberation, but we do believe it is best for our campus and high schools alike,” Hamaker said.

Smith thanked all who have participated in and supported the contest.

“The faculty and staff's dedication to the Scholastic Contest assists CSC in delivering its mission to provide educational experiences that enrich the region and beyond,” Smith said.
