CHADRON –Chadron State College will offer a free, public, annual greenery swag workshop Saturday, Nov. 20, at 9 a.m. at the Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center’s Chicoine Atrium.

CSC Grounds Supervisor Lucinda Mays will provide detailed instructions and all materials for constructing the greenery arrangements will be provided.

Participants are invited to create greenery swags to decorate the college’s main entrance at 10th and Main Street and at the Student Center using pine, fir, juniper, yew, and other evergreen branches recently harvested by the CSC grounds crew.

Following completion of the campus swags, each participant is invited to make one swag to take home.

Those attending should wear work clothes and bring gloves, a pair of pruners, and plenty of ribbon for their personal greenery creation.

Participants who have extra ribbon or decorations to share, are invited to bring them. The workshop concludes at noon. For details, contact Mays at lmays@csc.edu.
