Range Day to cover numerous ag-related topics

CHADRON – The Upper Niobrara White Natural Resources District will co-sponsor the Fifth Annual Range Day with Chadron State College and the C.F. Coffee Family Foundation Thursday, Jan. 16 at the CSC Student Center.

The event, which begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Scottsbluff Room, is free and open to the public.

Speakers will address topics from prescribed burns and long-range weather forecasts, to range monitoring technology and drones. In addition to the educational opportunities provided, a CSC graduate will be recognized at lunch, and vendors will attend.

“The planning committee has pulled together another lineup of great speakers on several range related topics and anyone interested in protecting or improving their range health is encouraged to attend,” said Nevin Price, Upper Niobrara White Natural Resources District's natural resources coordinator.
