Applications available for CSCEA scholarship
CHADRON – Applications are now being accepted for the 2021 Chadron State College Education Association (CSCEA) scholarship. The scholarship, funded by CSCEA faculty members, provides two $500 scholarships for the Spring 2021 semester. Students who have completed a minimum of 30 hours at the time of application are eligible to apply.
To apply, students must be a full-time undergraduate CSC student during the Spring 2021 semester, pursuing their first undergraduate degree, and have not previously received a CSCEA scholarship. Students must complete the application form, available online or in the START Office in Crites Hall.
Additional guidelines for the CSCEA Scholarship application include:
- Students must write an essay about personal and career goals and explain how they would benefit from receiving the scholarship.
- Recommendation forms from two CSC faculty, who have instructed the student before.
- A copy of all transcripts/institutional coursework (does not need to be official).
- A copy of all scholarship and financial assistance the student has received for the 2020-21 academic year.
- Priority will be awarded to students based on academic merit and/or financial need.
- The deadline the application’s paperwork must be returned to Dr. Tawny Tibbits in Brooks Hall, Room 126 by 4 p.m. is Nov. 13. Late applications will not be considered.
