USAID speaker coming to CSC Wednesday
CHADRON – Todd Flynn will speak about his experiences with USAID’s Farmer-to-Farmer Program Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 3 p.m. at the Rangeland Complex Classroom, Room 213. The event, co-sponsored by the Social Sciences and Rangeland departments, is free and open to the public.
Flynn, an attorney from Ainsworth, Nebraska, has participated in several Farmer-to-Farmer programs in Africa. According to USAID, the Farmer-to-Farmer program provides technical assistance from volunteers to farmers and others in developing and transitional countries with the goal of promoting sustainable improvements in food security and agricultural processing, production and marketing.
