Soil health advocate to speak on campus

CHADRON—Chadron State College students, local FFA chapters, and area agriculture producers are invited to attend “Observing and Thinking: One Man’s Journey to Regenerative Agriculture,” by Shane New Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Student Center.

According to CSC faculty member Dr. Ron Bolze, the program, hosted by the Nebraska Grazing Lands Coalition, Nebraska Extension, and Green Cover Seed, will feature New, an award winning soil health advocate, stockman, and entrepreneur.

The day’s program will include presentations by local farmers and ranchers who have experience in soil health and an overview of the NGLC Grazing Cover Crops Project.
