Seniors plan to display art
CHADRON – Chadron State College's Senior Thesis Art Show, "Between the Lines," opens Monday in the Main Gallery of Memorial Hall. The show will be open Monday through Friday until Dec. 6 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A reception featuring the artists will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in the Memorial Hall Lobby.
The show will feature work by Emma Jurewicz of Gillette, Wyo., Kayla Reinke of Pierce, Neb., Matt Ellis of Alliance, Neb., and Riley Ellis of Harrison, Neb. Mediums include ceramics, graphic design, paintings, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.
Jurewicz will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a field endorsement in Art (K-12) in December 2020. Reinke will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts with a Comprehensive Major in Art and a Graphic Design Option and a Business Minor in May 2020. Riley Ellis will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts with a Comprehensive Major in Art and a Graphic Design Option in December 2019. Matt Ellis will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts with a Comprehensive Major in Art and a Studio Art Option in December 2019.
