For the third day in a row, Chadron State College will close its campus. After being closed Wednesday and Thursday because of a blizzard in the Chadron area, CSC will also close Friday.

Currently, CSC crews are working to clear walkways, roads, and parking lots, but the volume of snow from the blizzard earlier this week was substantial. In addition, many of the roads in western Nebraska remain closed Thursday afternoon.

The CSC Dining Hall will be open Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m, and will remain open until 6 p.m. Thursday. The C-Store in High Rise will be open 8 p.m. to midnight both Thursday and Friday.

CSC employees may refer to Human Resources or the Employee Handbook for information regarding leave practices during campus closures. Employees may refer to their supervisor to determine if they are essential personnel.

If you have a cancellation or postponement to report, please email ahelmbrecht@csc.edu with the information.
