Classes canceled for remainder of week; campus closed Tuesday and Wednesday
Beginning Monday, Nov. 25, at noon, all Chadron State College classes will be canceled for the remainder of the week due to the severe winter weather forecast. In addition, Chadron State College will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 26, and Wednesday, Nov. 27. Chadron State College was already scheduled to be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The residence halls will remain open and dining services will serve food through Tuesday, Nov. 26. All other Chadron State College departments will be closed, including the King Library.
Although classes will not meet Monday afternoon, the CSC campus will remain open.
CSC employees may refer to Human Resources or the Employee Handbook for information regarding leave practices during campus closures. Employees may refer to their supervisor to determine if they are essential personnel.
Please exercise caution if you are traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday. According to the National Weather Service, heavy snow is expected across southeastern Wyoming and western Nebraska. There is an additional Winter Storm Warning for much of central and eastern Nebraska. If you are traveling, have a winter weather safety kit available.

Cancellations and Postponements
MTNA Fundraiser Recital scheduled for Monday, Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sandoz Center Chicoine Atrium has been postponed to the Spring semester.
Dr. Susan Schaeffer's presentation for the Graves Lecture Series scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Sandoz Center has been postponed to the Spring semester.
