Jobsite, volunteer registration now open for The Big Event
CHADRON – Jobsite and student and employee volunteer registration is now open for The Big Event. The sixth annual event is scheduled for April 21 after the annual CSC spring football game.
The Big Event is a student-based, community service day designed to say thank you to the community of Chadron. The tradition started in 2013 at CSC and included over 400 volunteers and 15 job sites. It now encompasses more 600 volunteers and 100 job sites within Chadron and the surrounding area.
Volunteers and jobsites can register online. The Big Event staff will have registration tables in the NPAC, Student Center, Old Admin, and Math and Science buildings. Jobsite and volunteer registration will close April 12.
All local businesses, churches, and residents are welcome to apply as jobsites.
