Campus closed Friday
Chadron State College is closing its campus Friday, April 13, because of winter weather conditions.
Classes will not meet Friday; however, the residence halls and dining services will remain open.
The Chadron area is in a Winter Storm Warning until midnight. According to the National Weather Service, Chadron’s weather forecast calls for several inches of snow with wind gusts reaching 60 miles per hour.

Postponements
The Chadron State College music reception scheduled for Friday, April 13, 5 p.m. has been moved to Saturday, April 14, 11:30 a.m. in the Memorial Hall Lobby. Join us to meet the composer, David von Kampen. His pieces will debut at the Sunday, April 15 concert in Memorial Hall, 3 p.m. Both events are open to the public. Refreshments will be served at the Saturday reception.
Chadron State College Spring Daze activities for Friday are canceled. Activities will resume Saturday.
