CHADRON – The Chadron State College Senior Art Show, “Infinity,” opened Monday in Memorial Hall’s Main Gallery. “Infinity” features the work of eight seniors: Breezy Boldon of Buffalo Gap, S.D., Emily Still of Scottsbluff, Neb. Heather Clark of Spearfish, S.D., Morgan Peacock of Morrill, Neb., Rachel Blair of Homer, Neb., Serena Brooks of Glenrock, Wyo., Tara Medigovich of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Troy Fields of Halsey, Neb.

A free, public reception will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. in Memorial Hall.

The Main Gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The show will be open April 3 through April 14. For more information, call 308-432-6317.

Boldon is pursuing a comprehensive art degree with an option in graphic design. Her two main interests are oil painting and graphite drawing.

Still is pursuing a teaching degree with a field endorsement in Art K-12. She prefers ceramics and glass.

Clark is pursuing an art degree with an option in gallery/museum. Drawing and oil painting are her two favorite media.

Peacock said she is primarily interested in drawing, oil painting and ceramics. She plans to pursue a field endorsement in Art K-12.

Blair is a graphic design major most attracted to designing logos, different forms of brand identity and photography.

Brooks, who is seeking a degree option in graphic design, likes to focus her efforts on graphic design, photography and oil painting.

Medigovich is a graphic design major interested in photography, painting and drawing.

Fields is pursuing a graphic design major option with minors in applied statistics and marketing/entrepreneurship. He is primarily involved with screen-printing, oil painting and graphite.

The Advanced Art Studio (ART 430) show runs concurrently with the Senior Art Show in Memorial Hall’s Gallery 239.
