PBL members make impressive showing at nationals
CHADRON – Chadron State College students finished with impressive rankings at the annual Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, June 24-27.
Students participated in events ranging from Business Communications to Statistical Analysis.
Todd Jamison, assistant professor of business, PBL sponsor, and head business consultant for the Nebraska Business Development Center at CSC, said he was pleased with the students’ outstanding presentations.
“Out of 13 total events participated in, we took home top 10 national honors in five of them. I’d say that’s a pretty good showing,” Jamison said. “Every one of our members worked very hard to qualify for the national competition, and to have more than half of them place in the top 10 in the nation is quite a feat."
He said he and the students were grateful for the financial support from CSC and the community of Chadron that made the trip to nationals possible.
