Nebraska Arts Council town hall meeting set for Wednesday at the Sandoz Center

OMAHA – Nebraska Arts Council (NAC) staff members will conduct an informal town hall style meeting Wednesday in the Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center on the Chadron State College campus. The meeting, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., is part of an annual NAC summer series designed to collect feedback from the statewide arts community.

Sarah Polak, director of the Sandoz Center, said the forum is an occasion for local arts leaders to discuss the arts as well as hear about NAC updates and opportunities.

Anne Alston, NAC’s arts education manager, is looking forward to the meeting.

“We’ve worked with Sarah in the past and are very appreciative that she was willing to host an informal listening forum in Chadron this week,” Alston said.

Other NAC stops this week include Gordon, Valentine, Bassett and Norfolk.
