Music department concert season gears up

Music enthusiasts will have many opportunities to hear the Chadron State College music department at events planned through the end of the spring semester.

April 12 – CSC’s premier concert choir and Men’s Ensemble will perform musical selections vary from Renaissance to modern in the Chadron Arts Center at 3 p.m.

April 19 – Dr. Una Taylor, faculty recital and soprano. She will be accompanied by Mr. Brooks Hafey, and Ryan Head, guitar, performing music of South America and Spain in the Chicoine Atrium, Sandoz Center at 4 p.m.

April 26 – Community Choir and Arioso will perform in the Chadron Arts Center at 3 p.m.

April 28 – Vocal Jazz and Jazz Band will perform jazz standards and modern popular music arranged in the jazz idiom in Memorial Hall’s Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

May 1 – Wind Symphony and CSC’s premier Campus and Community Band perform in Memorial Hall’s Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
