Dr. Tim Donahue, Chadron State College business professor, is the recipient of the 2015 Nebraska Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) State Leadership Conference Business Person of the Year Award.

Donahue received the award at the PBL State Leadership Conference April 4 in Kearney, Nebraska.

“I was very surprised,” Donahue said. He was nominated by the CSC Chapter of PBL. Each college PBL chapter may nominate a local business leader.

“With many years of service as a professor at Chadron State College, owner of TD Donahue & Associates, and Director of the Nebraska Small Business Development Center, he is an outstanding example of a local business leader,” said Chadron State PBL treasurer, Molly O'Connell.

Donahue will retire from CSC following the academic year. He arrived at CSC in the fall of 2005 as a marketing/entrepreneurship professor. During a luncheon Thursday honoring Donahue and other CSC employees he said he has thoroughly enjoyed his time at CSC.
