Campus gears up for Scholastic Contest Friday

Fifty-six high schools from Nebraska, Wyoming and South Dakota will converge on the Chadron State College campus for the 55th annual Scholastic Contest Friday.

Entertainment for the 1,344 students at CSC to test their academics talents includes hayrack rides, an open mic at the Lindeken Clock Tower, tour of the blood spatter lab, putt-putt golf, the human genome scavenger hunt designed by Dr. Wendy Jamison and a game trailer.

The contest is early this year due to Good Friday coinciding with the traditional test date of the first Friday in April.
