The 2014-15 Miss Chadron State College Rodeo application is now available on the CSC rodeo Web page. The pageant will take place Sept. 8-12 prior to the annual CSC Rodeo Sept. 18-21.

Entries, including photos, must be submitted, in person, by 4 p.m. Sept. 3 to the CSC Conferencing Office in the CSC Student Center.

Coronation is set for noon Friday, Sept. 12, at the Coffee Agriculture Pavilion in the CSC Rangeland Complex. Bailey McLean of Sheridan, Wyoming, the outgoing queen, will participate in crowning the new titleholder.

The 2014-15 CSC rodeo queen will win a custom belt buckle, banner, scholarship and other prizes including a traveling crown.

Eligibility for interested female contestants includes full-time enrollment at Chadron State College. Other requirements are included in the application.

Pageant events open to the public include the horsemanship competition at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at the Dawes County Fairgrounds. The times and locations of other public events will be released later.
