Faculty to perform Sunday recital

The Chadron State College music faculty will perform a recital Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. in the Chicoine Atrium of the Sandoz Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Department chair Dr. Una Taylor will sing three Brahms' lieder and Dr. Jim Margetts will perform "Ruvido ed obstinato" by Ginastera. Charles Carey will perform on the guitar and Dr. Sandy Schaefer will play a selection on the marimba.

Dr. Sid Shuler will present a movement of a Hummel concerto on trumpet, and Pam Shuler plans to play Weber's Concertino on clarinet. Dr. Michael Stephens and Lauren Stephens will play a Pierre Max Dubois saxophone-flute trio.
