Reynaga named as new CSC student trustee
Adolfo "Danny" Reynaga, a Chadron State College junior, has been named as the new CSC student trustee on the Nebraska State College System Board of Trustees. He is the son of Adolfo and Dora Reynaga of Alliance, Neb. and a 2010 graduate of Alliance High School.
Reynaga is majoring in Legal Studies, plans to take the LSAT in June and eventually go into civil law possibly specializing in family law. He is interested in politics and public policy as well.
He recently attended the NSCS Board of Trustees meeting with Morgan Nelson, the outgoing CSC student trustee. "We have had classes together and the more I talked to Morgan about it, I knew I wanted to apply for the position. She said she really enjoyed it and I think I will too. The board was impressed with Morgan which was great to see."
In mid-June, Reynaga will undergo an orientation session presented by Dr. Korinne Tande of the NSCS System Office in Lincoln, Neb. regarding his responsibilities as a student trustee.
Nelson said, “I've gotten to know Danny really well and I think he will provide a very knowledgeable opinion to the board. He's been attending meetings on campus already, working into the position and it's obvious that he will fit the job well. I'm excited to have such a great successor, and representative for the students of CSC.”
