Early Childhood Conference next week

Chadron State College will present its 24th annual Excellence in Early Childhood Conference Feb. 22-23.

The conference will again feature a wide array of presenters who specialize in early childhood education. The keynote speaker this year is Holly Elissa Bruno of Sterling, Mass.

Bruno, an author and attorney, hosts the online radio program Heart to Heart Conversations on Leadership: Your Guide to Making a Difference” at BAMradionetwork.com.

Her employment history includes service as the Maine assistant attorney general and assistant dean at the University of Maine School of Law. She also was selected outstanding professor while working as associate professor and dean of faculty at the University of Maine at Augusta.

An alumna of the Harvard University Institute for Educational Management, she teaches leadership courses for The McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership and Wheelock College.

The theme of this year’s CSC Excellence in Early Childhood Conference is “United We Stand for Children … Yes, We Are Ready – Embracing Social and Emotional Development.”
