CSC becomes first Nebraska Partner Institution with HACU
Chadron State College has become the only institution of higher education in Nebraska to be affiliated with Hispanic Association of College & Universities.
Jon Hansen, vice president of enrollment management and marketing, said that CSC’s Partner Institution status with HACU reflects the mission and vision of CSC as a college of opportunity and access.
“We took the initiative to partner with HACU because we want to address this growing demographic, much of which will include first-generation students, in the best way possible. We want to meet or exceed the expectations of Hispanic students and their family members,” Hansen said.
He has attended two national HACU conferences and Interim Admissions Director Lisa Stein plans to attend the national HACU conference this fall.
