Construction on Rangeland Complex in full gear
Steel work should begin next week on Phase I of the Chadron State College Rangeland Complex according to Craig Hadan, superintendent for general contractor Sampson
A crew of about 10-12 has been working on concrete this week. During the earthwork phase, water had to be worked into the soil so that it would meet the compaction specifications of the Bahr Vermeer Haecker design team. Hadan said the soil was like powder prior to adding moisture. The projected completion date for Phase I or the arena portion of the complex is set for late August.
