Recital will showcase faculty

Published:

The Chadron State College music department will open its fall performance schedule by showcasing the talents of its faculty. The recital will be Sunday, Sept. 30, at 3 p.m. in the Chicoine Atrium of the Sandoz Center.

The faculty members will perform a variety of vocal and instrumental classical music.

The performers include three new members of the department -- Sid and Pam Shuler, and Brooks Hafey. Sid Shuler is the new director of bands, while Pam, his wife, is an adjunct faculty member. Hafey is the department’s new accompanist. The other performers are Una Taylor, Joel Schreuder and Charles Carey.

The event is open to the public free of charge. Those unable to attend the recital may watch it live on the Internet at this link.
