Jazz Festival is today

Schools in attendance are Jones County of Murdo, S.D., Ogallala, Sidney, Spearfish, S.D., Sundance, Wyo., and Upton, Wyo.

Each ensemble will receive a 30-minute session in which to perform and be critiqued on stage by one of the event’s clinicians. CSC faculty members also will present sessions for improvisation and performance techniques.

The performances are open to the public free of charge. In addition to the sessions by middle school and high school groups, a number of CSC ensembles will take the stage.
