The 23rd annual Excellence in Early Childhood Conference is set for Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17-18, at Chadron State College.

The conference will again feature a wide array of presentations by early childhood professionals. The keynote speaker is Lisa Murphy of upstate New York. Known professionally as the “Ooey Gooey Lady,” Murphy has more than 20 years of early childhood experience and delivers many presentations about incorporating play-based activities to the classroom.

Displays by vendors and organizations will complement the many workshops and presentations.

Participants who register before Feb. 10 will receive a reduced rate. More information about the conference, including registration materials, may be found at www.csc.edu/ecc.
