Wildlife Club photography contest open to employees, students

Cash prizes await Chadron State College employees and students who submit the best work for an institution-wide photography contest.

The CSC Wildlife Club is hosting the photography contest for college employees and students who capture images of the outdoors. The contest’s three categories are wildlife, landscape and human dimensions. While the first two categories may be self-explanatory, examples of the latter include photos from hunting success, birds on feeders and any other scene that resulted from human interaction with wildlife.

Photographers may submit their original work and entry fees Wednesday through Friday, April 6-8, at Dr. Teresa Zimmerman’s office, Burkhiser 221. The photos will be displayed and voted on by students April 11-15.

Contest organizers ask that each photo be submitted as an 8-by-10 without frames or mats. The entry fee for students is one photo for $5 or three for $10. Employees may enter one photo for $10 or three for $20.
