Variety of music on tap for choir concert

Three Chadron State College choirs will present a wide variety of music during their concert Sunday, Nov. 6. The free concert will be at the Chadron Arts Center, at the corner of Fourth and King streets, at 3 p.m.

The CSC men’s ensemble, the Arioso women’s ensemble and the concert choir, under the direction of Dr. Joel Schreuder and Dr. Una Taylor, plan to present 20 pieces of music, representing a wide variety of styles and time periods. Familiar songs include “Ave Maria” and “Over Hill, Over Dale.” 

A total of 40 singers are in the concert choir this fall. The women's ensemble has 17 members while the men's group has eight.
