Six attend conference for integrative studies

Five Chadron State College faculty members and one administrator attended the 2011 conference for the Association of Integrative Studies in Grand Rapid, Mich., Oct. 13-16.
The conference provided insight to reflective teaching practices, the “nuts and bolts” of interdisciplinary development and assessment, and methods of teaching interdisciplinary studies.
Attending the conference from CSC were Charles Snare, dean of teaching and learning, and faculty members Ann Buchmann, Robert Knight, Yvonne Moody, Lisette Leesch and Kim Madsen
The faculty members are part of a concerted effort to develop interdisciplinary courses at CSC.
