PR Club, radio station planning Battle of the Bands
The Chadron State College Public Relations Club and Chadron radio station KBPY are inviting area bands to “rock their way to cash.”
The Battle of the Bands Competition will be Friday, April 15, from 7 p.m.-11 p.m. at the CSC Student Center.
All bands are invited to apply for the competition. The entry fee is $25 to help raise funds for the cash prizes. First place wins $350, second place wins $150 and third place wins $75. Select CSC employees and students will judge the event.
Audience members will be charged $3 per person or $5 per couple. CSC students who present college IDs will be admitted free. The event’s doors will open at 6:45 p.m. KBPY plans to be on site and provide live updates twice per hour.
