The Nebraska State College System 2011 Counselor Tour kicks off in September with events in Norfolk, South Sioux City, Lincoln, Omaha, Gering, North Platte and Grand Island.

The NSCS, which includes Chadron, Peru and Wayne State Colleges, will provide college information, refreshments and more at each of the stops. Counselors are invited to participate at one of the breakfast or lunch sessions. This year the tour celebrates the strength and longevity of the NSCS through its combined 345 years of service to Nebraskans.

The tour program focuses on school counselors, transfer advisors and TRIO staff who work with students and their parents during the college selection process.
