Local arts, crafts go on sale
The work of local artists and craftspeople goes on sale today for the annual Chadron State College Art Guild Christmas Sale.
The sale is today (Thursday) through Saturday in the Ponderosa Room of the Student Center. Times are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
The sale features items such as cards, glass ornaments, ceramics, beadwork, candles, soaps and baked goods. The Art Guild collects 20 percent of the proceeds to fund its yearly activities.
