King Day activities include annual march
Chadron State College will observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a march up Main Street and a series of other activities Monday, Jan. 17.
<span helvetica","sans-serif";="" mso-bidi-font-family:="" 'times="" new="" roman'"="">The events will begin at 10 a.m. with the annual walk from the corner of Third and Main streets to the CSC campus. Following the walk, the public is invited to the Student Center for comments, refreshments and videos of King’s speeches. The events will conclude with a vigil at 7 p.m.
<span helvetica","sans-serif";="" mso-bidi-font-family:="" 'times="" new="" roman'"="">The observance’s organizers, CSC staff members Sarah Polak and Laure Sinn, are encouraging members of the public to join college students, faculty and staff, in the activities.
