An array of high-spirited music is in store for those attending this week’s jazz concert at Chadron State College.

The free concert, which features the musical talents of 20 CSC students and director Dr. Michael Stephens, will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, in the ball room of the CSC Student Center.

The concert will feature seven songs that showcase the students’ musical abilities. The selections include pieces by jazz legends Charlie Parker, Benny Carter and Mercer Ellington, as well as those by more contemporary artists, such as Thad Jones and Gordon Goodwin.

Those who are unable to attend in person may watch the live stream at  www.ustream.tv/channel/chadron-state-music
