Facilities set midterm break hours
The Chadron State College campus will remain open throughout the midterm break, but some of its public facilities plan to close or shorten their hours. The break begins at 5 p.m. Friday, March 4, and runs through Sunday, March 13.
The Nelson Physical Activity Center will begin its break by closing at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 4. It will be open 8 a.m. to noon and 3-7 p.m. Monday through Friday next week and 1-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday each of the break’s two weekends. The Armstrong Swimming Pool will be closed throughout the break.
The Student Center will have regular hours, 6:30-10 p.m., on Friday, March 4, and Sunday, March 13, but will have a shortened schedule, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., all days between.
The Reta King Library will be open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday of the break, but closed on both of its weekends.
The Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center will be closed to the public March 7-13, except for March 10 during the regular meeting of the Golden Eagles.
All facilities plan to resume normal operating hours Monday, March 14.
