CSC Art Students attend Meet the Pros Conference

Put on annually by the Omaha chapter of the American Advertising Federation, this was the 50th anniversary of the conference and was attended by 182 design students from the region. Meet the Pros features area professionals in advertising and design and providing straight talk about real life after graduation and job/interview tips. The intense 2-day event featured student portfolio reviews, a creative directors panel, sessions on various aspects of design careers, skill building, and inspiring keynote speakers. CSC student Kelsey Hinesley had her portfolio reviewed for the second year in a row receiving good feedback from a local designer. In the evenings, the students had personal tours of Omaha Clayworks, the Old Market Artists Co-op, and the Omaha Hot Shops Art Center.
