Annual sale features area arts, crafts
The Chadron State College Art Guild is encouraging area artists and craftspeople to sell items during the club’s annual Christmas Sale on Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 8-10.
Area artists who would like the Art Guild to sell its work have until Monday, Nov. 28, to sign up. They may contact CSC art faculty member Mary Donahue at 308-432-6325 or mdonahue@csc.edu.
The annual event features a wide variety of artwork, including cards, glass ornaments, ceramics, beadwork, candles, soaps and baked goods.
The sale serves as a place for shoppers to buy local arts and crafts, a fundraiser for the club, and a retail outlet for local artists. The Art Guild collects 20 percent commission from the sales.
