Students to present international cuisine

Published:

A wide variety of international flavors will be offered for sampling during “Taste the World in a Few Hours,” a program at Chadron State College.

The event, which will feature samples of foods from CSC’s international students, will be Thursday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Student Center.  The students will be present to tell attendees about the cuisine.

“The students wanted to do something to show off their unique foods,” said Frances Gonzalez, CSC International Club sponsor. “We have the Food Tasting Party in the spring, but the students focus on entertainment and don’t get an opportunity to tell people about their food during that event.”

The program, which is open to the public free of charge, is being sponsored by the International Club and the CSC Residence Life Association.
