The Student Senate election is under way at Chadron State College's Student Center. The voting booths are open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

Students in recent years have voted online, but the process has gone retro this year. Members of the Chadron Retired Senior Volunteer Program have been recruited to hand out paper ballots to the students who are voting in election booths on loan from Dawes County.

A total of 24 candidates are running in the election.
