Stop the Hate' campaign beginning in December

The Chadron State College Diversity Committee is launching a campaign to fight hate and promote tolerance.

Committee members are encouraging the community to wear purple Friday, Dec. 3, in support of the “Stop the Hate: Make it Better for Everyone” campaign. The committee will distribute information and purple stickers in the Student Center and other points on campus Dec. 1-3.

Kara Vogt, who leads the diversity committee, said the campaign is aimed at fighting hate and promoting tolerance toward people with differing opinions, practices, race, nationality and other characteristics.
