Quiz booth set for Constitution Day

Chadron State College will celebrate Constitution Day on Friday with an event to test students’ knowledge of the nation’s set of political principles.

Laure Sinn, CSC coordinator of student activities said CSC’s criminal justice, legal studies and political science clubs will host a trivia booth from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in the Student Center. Names of students who participate in the activity will be placed in a drawing for a new digital camera.

The college also will show a pair of videos that feature discussions about the Constitution and distribute pocket versions of the document.

Constitution Day, which commemorates the signing and ratification of the Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787, began in 2004.
