Juniors chosen to lead Student Senate
Two juniors, Jacob Karmazin of Lawrence and Jennifer Weiss of Ainsworth, have been elected to lead Chadron State College’s Student Senate for the 2010-2011 academic year.
Karmazin, this year’s chief justice of the senate, will serve as president and Weiss, an incumbent, will be vice president. Karmazin will succeed this year's president, Jake Zitterkopf of Scottsbluff.
The students were elected during voting by students on Wednesday and Thursday, March 17-18. Student Senate meets weekly as the student body's representative organization and serves as its collective voice for institutional decision-making.
