International Food Tasting Party is Feb. 6

The Chadron State College International Club is selling tickets for its annual Food Tasting Party, which highlights the diverse cultures of CSC students. It will be Saturday, Feb. 6, at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Center ballroom.

Club sponsor Frances Gonzalez said food and entertainment will be at its best this year as members from a wide variety of countries are eager to share their cultures. She said this year’s club membership is at its all time high of 50 students representing 20 diverse countries. 

New countries to be represented this year include Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica, Serbia, Dominica and China. New students from Uzbekistan and Russia also will feature highlights from their respective countries.

Tickets are on sale now and must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Prices are $5 for children over age 5, $5 for students and $10 for adults. To purchase tickets contact any club member or Gonzalez at 308-432-6381, Kline Center second floor.
